Bristol Farms, a southern california upscale grocer, sells a $4 cookie. A chocolate chunk and walnut masterpiece. I don’t have the budget to shop there regularly but as an infrequent treat it is absolutely fantastic.

Oh this was an excellent murder mystery. An angry Monseigneur, an impossible crime, and the rational humanist detective who tries to figure out how it was done and who did it. Glenn Close, Josh O’Connor, Josh Brolin notable performances.

Bugonia is a Yorgos Lanthimos film. There are some people that this appeals to and I imagine some people that this is a warning. Yes, it’s a big weird and creative. But that can feel refreshing in a world where studios make sequels to milk a franchise.

Costco Rotisserie Chef Salad
The Costco food court is more than $1.50 hot dogs, and as I have been visiting Costco with some frequency I am trying different items. This salad comes with ingredients separated in compartments, allowing one to skip cheese, bacon &c. A good lunch

Went to an early screening of Wicked for Good as a member of the AMC A-List. Being familiar with the show I knew what was coming but still wanted to avoid spoilers. Enjoyed the performances, may have wanted bigger moments, but truly a cinema moment.

I don’t remember if NYSM2 properly explained Hanley’s absence but spoilers, in this movie she is back. Better use of female characters, especially Rosamund Pike. Disappointed by plot, but enjoyable if you don’t think about it.
