This is one of those films where you think “ah, well at least Michael Caine got paid.” What with his reputation for choosing to be a working actor rather than being particular about what jobs he takes. Plot is rubbish. 🥸🥸★★★

In preparation for the third Now You See Me film I started revisiting the original film which I recall I had mixed feelings about. And I appreciate that this feels like an original idea even though it’s just a transformation of a better story idea.

I’ve been listening to reactions on the Dodgers game 7 victory over the Blue Jays and it sounds like luck and opportunity helped decide the championship. This is normal and why baseball plays many games. Also because hopefully you enjoy the journey that is the season.

I’m sure this had a great pitch because the concept makes for a good hook. A low level angel meddles in the affairs of a struggling man who swaps lives with a rich VC bro. Problem is that there is no satisfaction in the resolution. I want some tacos though

Look I don’t even know why these come in a resealable bag because whenever I open a bag I’m probably finishing it. I really like these. Mini marshmallows, graham crackers covered with milk chocolate. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Used the AMC A-List to see Back to the Future in Dolby Cinema. The film looked great, sounds great and rather enjoyable all around. This was a re-watch for me and I do find myself noticing new things, like the Burger King trash by Doc’s bed.

Charlie Brown may receive the title treatment but this is really a story about Linus and Sally. Linus believes that his faith will reward him and proselytizes to Sally whose sacrifice of Tricks or Treats ultimately teaches us that men are idiots. 5/5
New Balance 574
I have now acquired my second pair of New Balance 574 and I feel like they check so many boxes for me. The fit and comfort suit me fine. I’ve been wearing the first pair for at least half a year and they are reliable. A good value. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
