Apparently I’m just posting about candy. I may have picked these up at a japanese market on a whim and ate in the dark at the cinema. Peach, mango and strawberry flavors. They have filling inside which of course reminded me of gushers. I like them better than gushers.

File this under: random things I bought because I haven’t seen them before and with Trader Joes I might never see again. Product of the UK, contains wheat. Peach, cherry, mango, pear. A fun little treat.
I regret that I have to say this, but if I cannot read what I wrote, the notes I take are useless. I guess I have to type it because my handwriting is the problem.
Roterfaden A5: I am trying new things 🖊️
I may keep my brain in my pocket but I want to try new things and experiment and have room for imperfections. This is why I bought a Roterfaden at Baum-kuchen. The cover has clips to let me swap notebooks and inserts. And yes that is a Jetstream Lamy.
Baum-kuchen is a cake, shaped like a cross section of a tree. From the German, “Baum” meaning tree and “Kuchen” meaning cake. It is also the name of a stationary store that was located in Altadena. Today they held a soft opening at their new location in Eagle Rock. I was very pleased to see the store busy.

Electrify America sent a survey email to ask how likely I would recommend to family / friend and so forth. I don’t think a numerical range is capable of explaining that I would recommend them but would immediately complain about them to lower expectations. 7/10 ?
